Morning: Arrive in Arusha early in the morning. After meeting your guide, head directly to Tarangire National Park (about a 2-hour drive from Arusha). Upon arrival, enjoy a morning game drive. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. The park is also home to lions, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and an impressive variety of birdlife, including the endangered ground hornbill.
Afternoon: you will take a break for lunch, either at a designated picnic site inside the park or at a lodge near the park and continue your exploration of Tarangire in the afternoon. During this time, you’ll have the opportunity to see more wildlife and enjoy the beauty of the park's diverse landscapes.
Evening: Return to your chosen accommodation for dinner and overnight.
Morning: After breakfast you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Manyara is known for its diverse ecosystems, including forests, savannah, and the large alkaline lake that the park is named after. Begin your game drive in Lake Manyara, which is famous for its tree-climbing lions, a rare and unique sight. The park is also home to large herds of elephants, flamingos (especially during the wet season), giraffes, and an abundance of bird species.
Afternoon: Enjoy a break at a picnic site or at a lodge in the park.after lunch you will continue exploring the park in the afternoon. Depending on the time of year, the lake might have vast flocks of flamingos, as well as a wide variety of other birds.
