Hike through moorland and enjoy views of Mount Meru and the Shira Plateau.
Overnight at Shira 1 Camp (3,610 m).
Trek across the Shira Plateau to Shira 2 Camp (3,850 m).
Optional acclimatization hikes available.
Climb to Lava Tower (4,630 m) for acclimatization and descend to Barranco Camp (3,960 m).
Enjoy stunning views of the Great Barranco Wall.
Climb the Barranco Wall and trek to Karanga Camp (4,035 m) for an acclimatization night.
Ascend to Barafu Camp (4,670 m).
Prepare for the midnight summit attempt.
